enforcement agencies. No refunds will be given on paid membership that
violate these terms and conditions.
Profile content: Because pen-pals.us is an open web site, your profile may be
viewed by web surfers from all parts of the world and of all ages. Please
keep your profile and your photographs appropriate for all audiences. By posting
a profile here you agree you are of legal age in your place of residence and
at least 18 years old. Your profile and photo may be used on pen-pals.us and any
other of our dating network sites.
Photos: We encourage all members to post their photograph. Please keep them
appropriate. Your photo will be available immediately for all to see, if it
is not appropriate we may prohibit you from posting any photos or cancel/suspend
your membership. We may use
any photos on our home page or other parts of our site to help introduce new
members to the site. Once posted your photo will be available to everyone in
your profile.
Harassment: You agree not to use pen-pals.us to harass or annoy others. We
have thousands of members and if someone is not interested in talking to you,
there are many others you may talk with. Keep it civil.
Free Basic Membership: Free basic membership is available to everyone that
meets the profile content requirements specified above. A valid email address
must be provided. Your use of the system may be limited in various ways,
number of mesages that can be sent, length of messages, emailing web or
email addresses, etc. These limitations are designed to give you the opportunity
to meet others on our system and give it a good work out, but let those who
help support it benefit the most.
Customer Service: Customer service is self service and limited to canceling your membership if you are not satisified.
SPAM: Any members who use our service to email others commercial messages
or web sites (or include commerical messages in their profiles)
will have their accounts terminated without notice. Our members
are here to interact with each other not to be directed to websites. Note: we
use your email address only to send you notices relative to your membership
on pen-pals.us and updates when you have new messages here. We never send spam
messages to you or distribute your email address to members or others.
Privacy Policy: Most of the information we collect is your public profile information
and you should not post any private information. Your profile is public! We do not
distribue any of the
information we collect relative to payment for premium accounts or customer
service issues outside of normal business requirements (ie: all
your payment information is collected by our payment processor -- we never see
it). In the case you might use our service to harass or annoy others or otherwise
violate the law, any and all information we have may be released to law
enforcement agencies or other appropriate parties. If you post inapproriate
photos or text any or all information you submitted to us may be released
as we see appropriate.
Feeds: Any or all of the information in your publi profile including your photo may or may not be included in RSS/XML feeds.
